  HISTORY

Since our formation in 1974, EMCWA membership has risen sharply. Our objective, however, is more aggressive than simply raising the count... our goal is to advance our industry through education, participation, and communication. These industry advancements include: scholarships, technical conferences, industry exhibitions, international participation, workshops, seminars, membership rosters and directories, and technical proceedings manuals

Mission Statement: The Electrical Manufacturing & Coil Winding Association, Inc., is a non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to the furtherance of the conception, research, design, manufacturing, marketing and use of electrical products. The Association provides an array of educational opportunities that enhance the development, knowledge, and use of electrical technology and products. Providing an annual forum to display products, ideas and innovations is a key element in this educational process.

Profile: EMCWA is dedicated to advancing the electrical manufacturing industry. This goal is ongoing and achieved through our membership and association activities. Concurrently, there are important member benefits to you, such as education, industry leadership, enhancement of your personal credentials, and participation in association events.

Membership mix provides an excellent platform with representatives from our core industries, related industries, scientific communities, academia, and other interested individuals. Each member is a professional committed to excellence and brings to EMCWA a particular set of skills and talents. EMCWA members are engineers, company presidents, managers from all engineering disciplines, manufacturing experts, designers, and other key individuals.
